| I’ve only just taken it out the box but its sooo shiny and cool looking  , I only need to attach the HDD, GC and the optical drive lol, I had a mini freak out as the motherboard doest come with any connecter for the monitor and the only thing that had one was the GC, and I couldn’t find a lead to connect the GC to the motherboard then I looked thought the ASUS User Guide in desperation only to realise what a complete dimwit I am. Sigh, nah what I was worried about was touching the GC and shorting it out or some thing. |

| Well everything’s installed and seems to run alright, loads asks for a boot disk, BIOS works and registers the HDD and the GC must work, it was infinitely fiddly though and I even managed to drop the HDD inside the case when putting it together, thanks for the advice LW and here’s hoping linux arrives tomorrow  |

It inspired me to get off my arris actually, I've wanted to upgrade my gaming for a while now and apart from getting my uuber-mouse, I've had no money to do so.
I'll be getting a new GPU in a few months but cant afford much right now, so instead I decided to go down the "cheaper, quick-fix" route and, rather than spend lots of money on a new monitor (I currently have a 19" flatscreen) I went and bought a DVI-to-HDMI cable and plugged my pc into my 38" HD-TV!
I couldn't get it to work initially but after fiddling with resolutions and refresh rates, I now have gone from a 19" Flatscreen, non-widescreen monitor to a 38" Fladscreen widescreen HD monitor for a tenner! (well, £10.99)
