| Guess I should introduce myself officially.
My name is Tomas, and I'm a 20 year old male from Sweden.
I guess you could call me a nerd, since I do a lot of nerdy stuff, like watching anime, reading manga, playing games; both PC and console (also aiming to become a Game Programmer or Designer), I role-play from time to time... Ah dammit, I don't know what to say about myself, so if you wonder, please ask instead =P

| Haha, thx for the links, but I'm quite prepared of what meaning a Game Designer (my main subject will be design, storytelling, etc) means.
I do not study ftm (took a break from my earlier studies of Japanese), but will do next autumn, and my subject will be as I said; Game Design and Programming. I have VERY little knowledge of programming, mostly Python and C++, but it's not enough to actually do anything with it. I need a spark in my motivation to get on with learning it xD |

| Hey Tomas, pleased to make your acquaintance^^ I myself did a BA in Computer Games Design back in '99. It was the first course of it's type ever to have been run in the UK and it was really cool (well, the courses where the tutors knew what they were talking about - I had one lecturer who insisted Tomb Raider was an FPS!). But the 3D modelling and 2D animation modules were good, and Narrative Structure was a class I enjoyed. Anyway, it never lead to a job in the industry - only two people from the four similar courses my year did went on to bag games jobs, and they started in the same jobs as people who had merely done some games testing  . But hey-ho^^ I'm a fan of anime too (and consoles and D&D tabletop) so I'm sure we'll get on well  . Glad to have you with us! |

Hey, I'm from sweden too  Aiming to go into the game graphics line (Spel Grafiker), I'm what most people I know call me "The Arch-Nerd", Studied two years of Japanese and I'm interested in both Gaming (PC and Console) and love anime and a lot of other things Where do you plan on studying? I'm going to "Skövde" to study there or Playgroundsquad (Most likely Skövde) so why don't you give me your msn or something? I'm sure we'll have a lot in common  |

Seems like we have a LOT in common. Even though I'm interested in graphics, I'm pretty bad at it. Or Very bad at it. I've studied 1 year of Japanese at Sthlm University, but I quit last spring since I wanna study Game Design for the moment. I might take it up again later though.
Hah, yea, I'm also going to Skövde, hopefully =/ I didn't get in this autumn cuz my grades sucks, but I did quite well at the... Högskoleprov =P so I think I'll make it next time. I'll have Gotland as my second choice though. Right, I'll send it to you in a pm. |

| So many Japanese students ... Never thought it was that popular. I'm studying Japanese too at university, alongside with English at philology department. Quite demanding, but beautiful language. Maybe we could start recruiting some members from Japan with our joined knowledge |
