February 8, 2010 - During Electronic Arts' third quarter fiscal investor call this afternoon, chief operating officer John Schappert teased Mass Effect fans with something big for early 2011 when discussing the company's fourth quarter fiscal plans.
"Winter of 2011 marks the chilling return of Dead Space, a highly rated, wholly owned franchise; another big driving simulation from Need for Speed; a new shooter being developed by Epic Studios and co-published by EA; and finally something far reaching for Mass Effect," Schappert stated.
This is likely additional downloadable content, something EA plans to do for all of its new titles going forward. But it seems this will be something more major than new weapons and armor. However, fans should not expect Mass Effect 3 so soon.
Starting tomorrow, Mass Effect 2 players can download the Cerberus Assault Armor and the M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun from the Cerberus network on Xbox 360 and PC. |

| awww just finished ME1 & 2 in a row, finished ME1 (almost all missions) in 3 days, (8. Feb) and just few min ago ME2. For me it is the best game ever! And I played a LOT's of games, and never sayed that to a game! . hehe phew, took me 3 day's to play the game on hardcore with infiltrator (though I didnt find it too hard). Almost all missions trough.... Well time to start playing on Insanity EDIT: Did any one play ME2 on rrenegade style? (Would be good if he used a renegade playing style in ME1) if yes, can he send me the save? thx EDIT2:Yes PJK I meant "renegade". I corrected it now

Did you spot this link of Mass Effect Save Games that Lord_Nord posted BP? I'm currently using the Female/Renegade Infiltrator called "Emily" for my 2nd run through and it imported with no problems at all. (thanks btw Nord) |

February 25, 2010 - BioWare has revealed the previously announced Firewalker Pack will be available late next month.
The pack contains the Hammerhead hover tank, which houses a guided missile system, and five all-new missions. This new content will again be free to all Cerberus Network members. Both the Cerberus Armor and M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun were made available earlier this month.
BioWare also teased that an all-new new heavy weapon will be made available to all members "very soon." |
