View all 19 videos December 10, 2009 - Today BioWare announced the names of several of the voice actors for the upcoming Mass Effect 2. Among the notables who are lending their talents to the game are: Martin Sheen ("The West Wing"), Shorhreh Aghdashloo ("House of Saddam"), Seth Green ("Austin Powers"), Keith David ("Crash"), Michael Dorn ("Star Trek: Deep Space Nine"), Tricia Helfer and Michael Hogan ("Battlestar Galactica"), Carrie-Ann Moss ("The Matrix"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Chuck"), and Adam Baldwin ("Predator 2: Electric Boogaloo").
Dr. Ray Muzyka, BioWare's co-founder and General Manager of EA's RPG/MMO group, praised the cast:
"Emotionally engaging narrative is a key design pillar for BioWare, and the top-notch voice talent in Mass Effect 2 helps drive this goal... Credible, powerful personalities are vital to delivering a compelling story experience in BioWare's games, and we have assembled an amazing ensemble cast that surpasses the very high bar set in the original Mass Effect!" The company also outlined the roles that many of these stars will play. It's no big surprise that Seth Green will return as Joker or that Keith David reprises his role as Admiral Anderson. Of the new actors, Martin Sheen will star as "the mysterious Illusive [sic] Man who commands Cerberus, a secretive paramilitary organization dedicated to protecting human interests in the galaxy." Yvonne Strahovski plays a genetically enhanced Cerberus operative Miranda Lawson. Tricia Helfer provides the new voice of the Normandy, EDI. Carrie-Ann Moss plays the crime lord Aria T'Loak, Shohreh Adhdashloo plays Admiral Shala'Raan vas Tonbay, Michael Hogan plays Captain Bailey, Adam Baldwin plays Kal 'Reegar, and Michael Dorn plays Gatatog Uvenk. The game is still set for a January 26 release in North America and a January 29 release in Europe. |
This give me hope for SWTOR voice actors

| Right tbh, I'm not blown away by these new actors, yeah its cool to see some of them ie the Battlestar guys and Baldwin but I'm going to be playing recognising all the voices and not being fully imersed, and I've already decided which characters will not be joining my team, bye bye Miranda Lawson, you are now the new Ashley or male human i have forgotten the name of from the first game, I'm still hoping for a Salarian character |

| When I first heard they were using the Collectiors for M.E.2 I had a big ol' smile on my face. I'd just finished reading "Ascension" and they were still fresh in my memory; to suddenly see them being a major antagonist in ME2 was just awesome. I was such a fan of Mass Effect, and the books really did the story justice, so to see M.E.2 pretty much picking up the banner and running with it made my day. Oh and HUZZAH for Legion! He's a cool one |

| | Mass Effect 2 Wiki wrote: | Save File Transfer
Mass Effect 2 allows the player to import their characters from any completed Mass Effect playthrough. This means that all decisions made by the player in Mass Effect will carry over into Mass Effect 2 and have the potential to impact the story. Decisions confirmed to have an impact on the game include:
The decision to save either Kaidan or Ashley.
Whether or not the player kills Wrex on Virmire.
Whether or not the player decides to save the Citadel Council at the end of Mass Effect.
The player's choice of love interest.
Whether the player spares or destroys the Rachni Queen at Peak 15.
The player's treatment of Conrad Verner.
Whether or not the player completed the UNC: Asari Diplomacy sidequest.
Whether the player chose to allow the Alliance to conduct experiments on Nirali Bhatia's body.
Due to massive gameplay redesign, your level will not transfer over to Mass Effect 2 and you will start out with basic abilities. However, the game will acknowledge if you were a level 60 character and if you were a Renegade or Paragon and adapt it in ways that map across to the new system. Also, the physical appearance and class of imported characters can be changed at the start of the game, if desired.
If a player has no Mass Effect save files, Mass Effect 2 will start with an introduction sequence which, in combination with interactive decisions made by the player, introduces new players to the storyline and establishes a “canon” backstory.
There are certain restrictions to transferring save files. Concerning the Xbox 360 version, the main restriction is that the gamer profile, career and related saves must be located on the original device it was first created on. Also, one must use the same profile in which save data from Mass Effect was saved. Specifically for the PC version, players will use the Mass Effect Configuration Tool to select the .MassEffectSave files they wish to import. Chris Priestly - community coordinator at the Mass Effect Forums - initially said there was a limit of 11 end-of-game saves that could be imported into Mass Effect 2 (i.e. if a player completes the first game 12 times, only completions #1-11 can be imported). However, in a later post he corrected himself and stated that it was no longer the case. Transfer of a Mass Effect Save file will allow the player to start with more experience, credits, mineral resources and Paragon or Renegade points depending on the previous Shepard's behavior and level. |

Who really cares they both suck, wouldn't mind if both could be killed.

He lives even if i'm Renegade
| Quote: | Whether or not the player decides to save the Citadel Council at the end of Mass Effect. |
This kinda makes me wonder about the entire story of Mass Effect 2 tbh, with such a huge difference in endins ie all human council or Alien coulcil i'm wondering if they are going to somehow eject them from the story somehow, especially now where working for the Illusive man. Do they even have spectres anymore, becuase if not that would be a way of removing the council from the game, maybe Sarens actions have closed the Spectres down :/

Liara always although she is a pain

Lives

Is ignoring the bastard and never interacting with him count as treatment

Yup

God really I found this really annoying but I suppose allowing it will get you a new wapon or bullet type |
