Well it was announced and lets just say, it was a surprise and not a surpirse at the same time.

So the main character is still alive maybe another slight of hand by Vader (how i dont know) but now he's a Jedi, so much for something new and different, let me guess they'll have another reconning of how the Death star hands fell into Republic hands
