Just uninstalled STO and check this review of STO 6.8 it so good it does not deserve more then 6

Well I heard it was quite good from someone *whistles*, still from watching gameplay TOR seems to have much more dynamice and interesting combat they have space comabt though which looks cool.
Hopefully AvP will be out here tomorrow so anyone whos bought it should join us on a match!

Eep! Bad crafting systems are actually a game breaker for me as I'm a big fan of it. Can you get by without crafting in STO?

Yeah, easily. And there's so much moaining going about it on the forums that I'm sure they'll be quick to address it's short comings (fingers crossed!). I was very dissapointed because I love crafting too, but with replicators in the ST universe I can see why it's difficult for them to incorporate crafting. But spending hours collecting the bits and bobs and then having to use the first 'specialist' to make 7-8k credits worth of junk you neither want nor need before it lets you speak to the next specialist (lvl up). It's just clumsy and tacked on. Though like I say, the bonuses that I've seen for crafted stuff don't make it so important a part of the game (at least at the low level) and there're plenty of decent available things that make the time and effort seem pointless.

Started running through Bioshock 1 (never finished it) before I take on Bioshock 2, also eagerly awaiting my Heavy Rain delievery

Heavy Rain is a great game just started to play it recommend it to all

I'm tempted but at £39.99 not sure if I'll get it yet

Aye 'tis above my £30 maximum spend out for a game, I'll just wait for it to drop in price

But that Red Dead looks bloody brilliant so I may pay out for that.

i will buy red dead to it will come to many good games this year: Read dead, CIV5, Dragon Age: Awaking and Gran Turismo 5 is just some few of them.
