| RULES FOR ROLEPLAYING ON THE FORUMS - If you're speaking OOC (Out Of Character) please use double-brackets and change the colour of the text to red. (e.g. ((Good roleplay so far guys!!))).
- If your character is speaking please use quotations and afterward highlight and change the sentence into Italic format (the 'I' icon above)
. - If you're involved in 'structured' or 'controlled' RP, use the symbol
to let the games master know that you're ready to move on in the story.
- Please be clear with what you're trying to say and what your intentions are, and check any spelling mistakes if you can.
- All players MUST stick to Star Wars lore. If you're not sure about something you can always ask in the Help Topics & Links section of this forum.
- Do not post a seperate OOC message without actually leaving roleplaying text. This can often disturb the flow of the roleplay.
- Try to stick to the story at hand and follow the previous post as best you can.
- Please remember to start the roleplay with a setting so that others are aware of what situation they are starting in.
- If you so wish, you may add a character list above the setting so people know who is involved and what characters they are playing in the roleplay at hand.
- The most important rule - don't be shy and have fun with it! Not everyone is the world's greatest roleplayer and some may even be new to the concept. This is a great way to learn new roleplaying skills.
If you feel I've left anything off this list please let me know HERE. |
