What humor would you like to see in TOR?

Would you prefer the blatant and quite bluntly plaguerized humor that WoW has incorporated to provide the player with a cheap laugh or would you like more distant and only hinting humor? Would you perhaps want the game to maintain a serious atmosphere and not include any humor at all in the game?

Personally I would very much enjoy the second option. Not boldly outlined but only sitting around allowing someone that knows what it's about to have a laugh while not really impacting the game in any way.

Like they suggested in the podcast, for you Spaceballs lovers, I would love to just be walking around Tatooine and stumble on this comb lying around.

Personally I think humour in TOR should really depend on your class story. For example if I were to play a Smuggler I'd expect a fair amount of humour akin to Han's quirky comments but if I were a Sith Inquistor I'd expect the story to have quite a dark feel to it.

Why that comb? The smaller one with the black guy was way funnier haha

I'd like humour that is always in-character - so no comb for me (not even having a blue police box float past your ship). I also go with what SS said, I think the class should very much determine humour type - so Sith Inquisitor may have some humour, but I'd like it to be dark. As for maybe the Trooper - knucklehead comments may give a laugh.

I get the impression the humour will be very subtle in TOR, rather than the kind of pop-reference chuckles that something like WoW threw about.

Knowing BioWare I suspect most humour you will find will be "in-house" references to their other games or other characters (such as The Space Hampster you can buy or "Go for the optics, Chikktika! Go for the optics!", a reference to Baldur's Gate II's Minsc, who shouts, "Go for the eyes, Boo! Go for the eyes!" to Boo, his miniature giant space hamster.)

I wouldn't be surprised if a certain hk-droid even turned up or was referenced...

So long as it's not the slap stick Jar-Jaresque, jawas-hanging-and-swinging-off-tall-mount's-reins, kiddy humour of the latter and/or remastered movies, I'll probably be able to bear it.

Well BioWare put some rly funy thins in ME1,2 DA-O.... So they will shoulry put a few jokes in SW tor.
