| (Previously titled "First Look At Star Wars - The Old Republic: Decieved)I've just found out that they're releasing yet another book entitled Star Wars: The Old Republic - Deceived. Read on people!.... Hot on the heels of the unveiling of the cover to Star Wars: The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance is this first look at another hardcover set in the time of the eagerly anticipated video game in development by LucasArts and BioWare. In Star Wars: The Old Republic: Deceived, readers will learn more about Darth Malgus, the Sith Lord who brought down the Jedi Temple. Star Wars fans first experienced the devastating might of Darth Malgus in last year's epic cinematic trailer to Star Wars: The Old Republic which depicted the Sacking of Coruscant. Readers will learn more about the man behind the mask in this novel by author Paul S. Kemp. Deceived tells the story of Darth Malgus and gives fascinating insight into his rise to fame and glory as the Sith Lord who destroyed the Jedi Temple. This stunning narrative finds the dark hero battling a veteran Jedi Master, setting the stage for the affairs and betrayals surrounding the last battle of the Great War before the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant. Deceived is written by Paul S. Kemp with the BioWare and LucasArts teams' full cooperation and creative consultation to bring an accurate account of the explosive incident and the ruthless man behind it. Star Wars: The Old Republic: Deceived is due out in hardcover on December 28, 2010. You can pre-order it today from Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Borders. _________________

| Speaking of books, does anyone know when Fatal Alliance hits the shops? I know you can pre-order it from Amazon and Waterstones now but I like to have the book in my hands when I go to buy it. It's a little OCD of mine! _________________ |

| I don't see any. The oldest one (Star Wars chronology-wise) is Darth Bane. Kotor era has been treated in comics and/or video games... That is unless I forget or haven't heard of it. |

| Taken from Darth Hater: | Quote: | Paul S. Kemp revealed the Dramatis Personae for his upcoming novel, Deceived.
I'm hoping to get approval in July to begin posting excerpts from Deceived, my Star Wars novel set in the The Old Republic. But in the meantime, I thought I'd post the Dramatis Personae for the novel. There are four core characters (these four are either point of view characters, or characters with a lot of screen time) and several important, but non-core characters.
The Core Characters
Darth Malgus, male human Sith lord.
Eleena Daru, female Twi-lek, a trained combatant and Malgus's companion.
Aryn Leneer, female human Jedi Knight and Force Empath.
Zeerid Korr, male human smuggler, former Republic commando
The Non-Core characters
Master Ven Zallow, male human Jedi Master
Darth Angral, male human Sith Lord.
Lord Adraas, male human Sith.
A few of the names should be familiar to fans who have read the Threat of Peace webcomic and the Biographies. The most notable character on the list is Malgus' companion, Eleena Daru, who appeared in the Deceived trailer and until now remained unnamed. Star Wars: The Old Republic: Deceived is due out in hardcover on December 28, 2010. You can pre-order the novel from Amazon.com. Hat tip to r2d2arm. |

| Lol I take your point Soude (Who doesn't love aliens, right?) but I think they're trying to ram home the point about Humans. After all, as a species Wookiepedia (and most other Star Wars references) state them as: | Wookiepedia on Humans wrote: | | Humans were the galaxy's most numerous and politically dominant sentient species with millions of major and minor colonies galaxywide. |

| I take great pride of putting no humans in my stories! My Dark Sider Jawa friends will erase all humans from the galaxy even if we have to ally with the Yuuzhan Vong!
More seriously I got nothing against human as characters but only humans... That's not very space... |
