| For my character 36809 there are a multitude of things that have inspired me. I've taken pieces from here and from there, changed, molded and attached extra arms with spikes, axes and chainsaws attached to them to create something that I think is playable with the addition of a kryptonite which every character needs. For looks my first inspiration was most probably Gaius Baltar from Battlestar Galactica. The mischievous, intelligent and rather psychologically unstable doctor. For biography and backstory I've taken pieces from Inquisitors and their acolytes from Warhammer 40.000 which all serve a greater good with little thought to their past as well as owning adopted names with supposedly no knowledge of their own name. Specific inquisitors would be Gregor Eisenhorn and Ravenor. Gregor Eisenhorn (In early days) Gideon Ravenor (Pre-Thracian Atrocity) Personality is a tricky thing with 36809. Since he spends such incredible amounts of time playing someone else he has little personality of his own. His personality has often been depicted as a mixture of those he has played and can therefore be rather volatile and most times 36809 chooses to simply be a social void and stick to himself. Wystan Frauka, an acolyte of Ravenor comes to mind. | Quote: | | Wystan Frauka - An 'Untouchable', a man with the latent ability to block out psychic activity. Big, chain-smoking and disliked by pretty much everyone (in part because of his psychic blankness. It was mentioned in Xenos that the field untouchables project also creates a sense of fear, revulsion and dread in others.). An interesting difference to the Eisenhorn novels is Frauka's so-called inhibitor, a device allowing him to shut down his natural anti-psi field. He is often found passing the time by reading pornographic data-slates or staring at the female members of the team. |
36809 would, when not playing someone else or when not deliberately attempting to be social be akin to Frauka, someone who people don't really like being around while he still provides important and usefull skills to a team.
From Star Wars I've taken inspiration from the Exchange, The Black Sun, The Czerka Corporation as well as many other things. |

| Haha, just metaphores but I know that most people wouldn't mind axe arms. Robot Wars was an awesome show but nowadays what I've seen of it is just so much worse than I remember. Perhaps because I was a lot younger when I saw it before... |
